Malaria Kills 6,325 Persons in Angola

At least 6,325 persons died of malaria in Angola during the first quarter of this year, according to figures from National Direction of Public Health on Wednesday.

The coordinator of the National Center for Processing of Epidemiological Datum, Eusebio Manuel, said this number of deaths is included in 1,096,536 cases recorded in the mentioned period.

Luanda, the capital of Angola, led the list with 1,856 obits.

Malaria is still the No.1 killer of the country, due to the poor sanitation conditions.
