British Prime Minister Tony Blair Tuesday said in Shanghai the UK and China should not only develop economic and political relations, but also develop an all-round cooperation, as well.
Blair, who began his state visit to China on July 20, made the remark at a forum here attended by 150 leading Chinese entrepreneurs and senior representatives of British companies in China.
Blair invited more Chinese enterprises to invest in the UK and suggested that Britain's successful experience in cooperation between the public and private sectors could be useful for China, especially in cities like Shanghai.
Before leaving for Shanghai on Tuesday morning, Blair attended the inaugural ceremony of the clean energy research and education center at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
