Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing arrived in Phnom Penh Sunday noon for a three-day visit at the invitation of his Cambodian counterpart Hor Namhong.
While in Cambodia, Li Zhaoxing will pay courtesy calls on Cambodia's National Assembly President Prince Norodom Ranariddh and Prime Minister Hun Sen, and hold official talks with Cambodian Foreign Minister Hor Namhong.
After his official visit, Li Zhaoxing will attend the ASEAN plus three Foreign Ministers' meeting; the 10th Foreign Ministers' Meeting of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF); the ASEAN Post Ministerial Conference (PMC); the ASEAN-China (10+1) Dialogue, and the second informal meeting of the Foreign Ministers of China, Japan and the Republic of Korea (ROK), which will be held here from June 17 to June 19.
During the meetings, Li will also meet with foreign ministers from some other countries to exchange views with them on bilateral relations as well as the regional and international issues of common concern.
Li, who arrived here after ending his three-day visit to Vietnam, will leave here for Changmai, Thailand, on Friday next week to attend the Asia Cooperation Dialogue slated on June 21 to 22.
