Foreign governments have continued to aid China's fight against the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) epidemic, according to a source with the Chinese Foreign Ministry on Monday.
The donations include 27 million Japanese yen (about US$230,000) in free financial aid from the Japanese government, US$200,000 worth of medical instruments from the government of the Republic of Korea and 983,000 euros (about US$1.15 million) from the Italian government.
