Chinese FM Sends Condolences to Russian Counterpart over Terrorist Attack in Chechnya
Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing on Wednesday sent condolences to his Russian counterpart, Igor Ivanov, over a recent terrorist attack in Russia's Chechen Republic.

Li expressed his deep sorrow for the victims in a message and asked Ivanov to extend his condolences to the families of the victims.

Li said China has always been firm in opposing terrorism in all forms and supporting Russia's efforts to fight terrorist and separatist forces and maintain national unity.

The Sino-Russian cooperation and mutual support in maintaining sovereignty and territorial integrity and fighting terrorism have become a substantial part of the strategic coordination between the two countries, said the Chinese foreign minister.

China will continue to cooperate with Russia as it has always done, Li said.
