Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan met in Beijing Tuesday with Georg Milbradt, minister-president of the Saxony State of Germany, and his party.
Tang said China and Germany are enjoying good relations, marked by frequent exchanges of high-level visits and fruitful cooperation. The Chinese Government is willing to work with Germany to boost their exchanges and cooperation in all fields, he said.
Tang expressed hope that Saxony will tap new cooperation areas and channels with China.
Later Tuesday, Bai Lichen, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, also met with the guests.
The guests are here at the invitation of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs.
