Arrangements are being made for the scheduled visit to China by Vice President Richard Bruce Cheney of the United States, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan.
An advance group from the United States has come to China for discussions with the Chinese side, said Kong at a regular press conference in Beijing Thursday afternoon.
