China Condemns Suicide Bombing in Israel
China severely condemned the suicide bombing in Israel's northern city of Haifa, and expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan made the remarks Thursday in response to a question on China's comments on the event.

Kong said China is always opposed to all violence targeting civilians. It believes that revenge attacks or extreme measures will only intensify the conflict.

China calls on Palestine and Israel to put an end to violent conflict immediately and return to the correct path of holding peace talks as soon as possible.
