China Urges Israel to Withdraw Troops from Palestine
China hopes Israel will withdraw its troops from Palestine-controlled areas as soon as possible, so as to create a favorable condition for an early resumption of peace talks.

In response to a question at a regular press conference Tuesday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan said Israeli armies have taken frequent military actions in the Palestine-controlled areas recently, destroyed local residential buildings, and injured or killed many civilians.

China is seriously concerned about the situation and condemns the actions which are detrimental to the relaxation of tensions there, noted Kong.
