A Chinese delegation headed by Vice-Foreign Minister Wang Guangya will attend the 13th summit meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Feb. 24 and 25, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue announced at a press conference in Beijing Tuesday.
Zhang said the first summit meeting in the new century will be of great significance in guiding the movement's development in the future.
China has observer status to the NAM and has established sound relations of cooperation with it over the years, said Zhang. China attaches importance to the NAM's role in international affairs, she said.
