Chinese Vice-Premier Li Lanqing and his Croatian counterpart visiting Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic expressed their readiness to enhance Sino-Croatian cooperation in a variety of fields during their meeting in Beijing Tuesday.
During the meeting, Li said that since China and Croatia forged their diplomatic ties 11 years ago, the leaders of both sides have had a frequent exchange of visits, bilateral cooperation has kept expanding and bilateral trade has been progressing smoothly.
There is a huge potential for Sino-Croatian cooperation in a range of fields, he said, and expressed his hope that China would further increase exchanges and cooperation in fields such as tourism and traditional Chinese medicine.
Deputy Prime Minister Granic said Croatia was also interested in further enhancing its cooperation with China in traditional Chinese medicine and a series of other fields.
Granic is visiting China at the invitation of State Councilor Wu Yi.
