14, Including 12 Militants, Killed in Kashmir
At least 14 people, including 12 militants and a security soldier, were killed and three security men injured in Jammu and Kashmir since Friday night, an official spokesman said.

Six militants belonging to Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-toiba outfit and a security soldier were killed in an encounter at Bharat in Doda district of Jammu Saturday, according to the Press Trust of India.

The encounter took place when militants opened fire on the security forces in the area. The gun battle lasted six hours, the spokesman said adding the search operation in Bagta Bharat was still continuing.

In separate encounters, six more militants and a civilian were also killed.
