CPPCC Vice-chairman Starts Visit to Australia, New Zealand
Yang Rudai, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Saturday left Beijing for a goodwill visit to Australia and New Zealand, at the invitation of Senate President Paul Calvert of the Australian Federal Parliament and Speaker Jonathan Hunt of the house of representatives of New Zealand.

Yang and his party also will attend the celebrations in the two countries for the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-Australian, Sino-New Zealand diplomatic ties.
