China Strongly Condemns Explosions in Bali
A Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said Monday China strongly condemns the violent explosions that took place on Indonesia's resort island of Bali Saturday night and resulted in the death and injury of a great number of innocent people.

Spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue made the remarks when asked to comment on the explosions and whether there have been victims of Chinese nationality.

Zhang said China is deeply concerned over the issue and reiterated that China has always been opposed to terrorism of any form.

Currently there has been no report of Chinese citizens being killed or injured in the blasts, said Zhang, adding that the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia is trying to collect information about it and provides assistance.
