122 Chinese Fishermen Released in Philippines
Philippine authorities released on Friday 122 Chinese fishermen detained six months ago for poaching.

These fishermen arrived in Manila on Friday after being freed from the provincial jail of Palawan Province in the western Philippines. They are expected to fly back to China on Saturday, Chinese embassy officials said.

Last Friday, these fishermen pleaded guilty in a local court in Palawan to poaching and agreed to pay fines.

They were arrested for illegal fishing in separate incidents early this year.
