China is ready to enhance economic and trade cooperation with Israel, said Vice Premier Wu Yi in Beijing on Monday.
Wu made the remarks in the meeting with Eli Yishai, Israeli Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor.
Wu highlighted the friendly cooperative relations between China and Israel, saying the two countries enjoy sound cooperation in economy, trade, finance, technology and agriculture.
She said China will step up cooperation with Israel in high-tech, agriculture and other areas, in an effort to push for all-round development of China-Israel relations.
Yishai was here on a visit to China at the invitation of the Ministry of Commerce.
