The event, which is scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur on Sept. 18, will focus on the latest global logistics issues affecting international traders, especially shipping issues, according to the Malaysian National Shippers's Council, which is organizing the event.
The topics of the conference will include abolishing collective rate setting by carriers, terminal handling charges, anti-monopolistic practices, ASEAN logistics network map, and the way forward for Asian shippers.
Some 300 delegates from various parts of the world are expected to attend the conference, including some leaders in the international shipping industry.
