The Communist Party of China (CPC) is willing to strengthen friendly relations with all parties in Indonesia, and promote the strategic partnership between the two countries, a senior CPC official said in Beijing on Thursday.

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks when meeting with Vice Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia A. M. Fatwa.

Wang also spoke highly of the important role played by Indonesian parties in domestic political and social development, and the positive contribution made in promoting party-to-party exchanges and in advancing the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Fatwa, also vice chairman of the guiding committee of the National Mandate Party, said he hopes to further enhance exchanges with the CPC, and share China's valuable experience.
