China and Ukraine signed an agreement on two-way market access in Hong Kong on Friday, which will speed up Ukraine's accession to the World Trade Organization.
Ukraine recognized China's full market economy status and made positive response to China's conditions on commodity and service trade, according to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the ongoing sixth WTO ministerial conference. Ukraine will join the international trade regime if it reaches such agreements with all the 150 WTO members.
