Chinese and French young people are expected to have more cooperation and exchanges, according to a Sino-French joint declaration issued on Monday.
The joint declaration is aimed at strengthening the cooperation and exchanges between two countries' young people in arts and culture, technology and environment, and economic and social development.
Chinese and French young people can add new vigor to bilateral relations, and youth exchanges can help them obtain more knowledge of each other, the declaration says.
The All-China Youth Federation and the Foreign Ministry of France promise to push forward the youth-related cooperation, according to the declaration.
Premier Wen Jiabao, upon his arrival in France on Sunday for a four-day official visit, said he hoped to further promote the development of an all-round strategic partnership between China and France.
