Bulgaria to Further Promote Ties with China

Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov said on Tuesday Bulgaria attaches high importance to relations with China and the Bulgarian government appreciates the economic achievements China has made.

 

While receiving the credential from Yu Zhenqi, China's new ambassador to Sofia, the president said that to maintain and develop friendly and cooperative relations with China is the consensus of all parties in Bulgaria and the country will broaden cooperation with China in various fields.

 

Yu, for his part, said mutual understanding and trust have been deepened and China will further promote ties with Bulgaria on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit.
