Vice Premier Hui Liangyu met in Beijing Monday with a Czech delegation, led by Jana Vanhova, vice chairman of Czech Social Democratic Party.
Hui said the peoples of China and the Czech Republic enjoy traditional friendship. The two countries have expanded cooperation in various fields and witnessed smooth development of bilateral relations since the establishment of diplomatic ties.
China is ready to join hands with the Czech Republic to push forward the development of bilateral friendly cooperative ties, he said.
Hui also affirmed the important role of party exchanges in promoting the country-to-country relations.
Vanhova said both of the two countries are committed to developing their national economy and improving people's lives and that China's experience can be an example to the Czech.
She said the Czech Social Democratic Party hopes to strengthen exchanges with the Communist Party of China and promote friendly cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
