Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing met Monday with his counterparts from Russia, Bolivia and Mexico on the sidelines of the 60th session of the UN General Assembly.
During his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Li said President Hu Jintao and Russian President Vladimir Putin have met for many times, and reached new and important consensus on how to deepen the bilateral relationship.
China will cooperate closely with Russia to translate the consensus into action, and to enhance the development of bilateral relations, Li stressed.
Lavrov expressed satisfaction with the current development of the Russia-China relations as well as the positive achievements made in the development of the ties.
He promised Russia will double the efforts to expand and deepen the strategic partnership of cooperation between the two countries.
When meeting with Bolivian Foreign Minister Armando Loaiza, Li said China attaches great importance to the relationship between the two countries, and will intensify cooperation with Bolivia in a bid to promote the friendly and cooperative bilateral ties.
Li also exchanged views with Mexican Foreign Minister Luis Ernesto Derbez on bilateral relationship.
During the talks, Li recalled the meeting between Hu and Mexican President Vicente Fox in Mexico City earlier this month.
Li said China will cooperate with Mexico in order to translate into action the consensus reached by the two leaders, and to promote the comprehensive development of the Sino-Mexican relations.
