Grenada's PM Pledges Further Trade with China

Grenada's Prime Minister Keith Mitchell said in Shanghai Sunday that Grenada looks forward to deepening trade relations with China.

Mitchell arrived here from Guiyang, capital of southwest China's Guizhou Province, on Sunday to continue his China tour. It is his first China visit since the two countries resumed diplomatic ties last January.

In a meeting with Shanghai Mayor Han Zheng, Mitchell expressed the hope that the non-governmental trade circles between Grenada and China increase contacts and set up trade exchange mechanism in a bid to improve bilateral relations.

Han briefed Mitchell on Shanghai's economic development and urban construction.

Mitchell is scheduled to leave Shanghai on Monday, concluding his five-day official visit to China.
