Mongolian, Chinese Parliament Leaders Meet on Bilateral Ties

Vice Chairman of Mongolia's Great State Hural (parliament) Danzan Lundeejantsan hailed Sino-Mongolian ties during his meeting in Ulan Bator Thursday with Uyunqimg, vice chairwoman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee.

During their talks, Lundeejantsan noted the more frequent exchanges of visits between leaders of the two countries during the recent times, while pointing out that President Hu Jintao's visit to Mongolia in 2003 played an important role in boosting bilateral relations.

Uyunqimg said the ties between China and Mongolia are becoming ever closer and bilateral cooperation is expanding. She expressed her hope that the cooperation and communication between the two countries' parliaments would contribute to the development of friendly bilateral ties.

Uyunqimg arrived in Mongolia Thursday as a special envoy of Hu to attend the inauguration ceremony of Mongolian President-elect Nambaryn Enkhbayar on Friday. She is to conclude her visit on Saturday.
