Vice Premier Hui Liangyu said in Beijing Thursday in a meeting with Dutch Agriculture Minister Cees Veerman and other guests that China will further enhance cooperation with the Netherlands in the field of agriculture.
"We will learn from each other and draw on each other's successful experience in agriculture and jointly carry out expanding bilateral cooperation between the two countries in agro-technology, farm produce processing and trade exchanges," said Hui.
He noted that the Chinese government values and supports agricultural cooperation and exchanges between China and the Netherlands.
Citing the sound growth of bilateral relations, he acknowledged that the two countries have maintained frequent, high-level exchanges and fast-growing trade cooperation in recent years. The two countries have also expanded their cooperation in the fields of culture, education, science and technology, Hui said.
