Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met Tuesday with a trans-party delegation of South Korean congressmen led by Deputy Speaker Park Hee-tae.
Expressing his appreciation of the exchanges between the parties in China and South Korea, Wang said the CPC is ready to improve friendly exchanges and cooperation with major South Korean parties to promote the stable and healthy development of comprehensive cooperative partnership.
Park said South Korea wants to join hands with China to maintain the fast development of bilateral relations so as to benefit the two peoples and promote peace and stability in Northeast Asia.
