Saudi security forces killed Wednesday night seven militants suspected of involvement in twin car bombing attacks in Riyadh, police sources said.
The seven were killed in an exchange of fire with Saudi security forces in northern Riyadh, they added.
The militants were suspected of being involved in two car bombing attacks against the Interior Ministry and a security forces training camp Wednesday.
The ministry building was slightly damaged.
It was the latest militant attack which was believed to be linked to al-Qaida network.
On Dec. 6, militants stormed the US consulate in the Saudi Red Sea resort of Jeddah, killing five non-US staff.
