China will add another 5 million yuan (US$610,000) aid to Sri Lanka in view of the serious aftermath of the disaster, totaling 10 million yuan (US$1.22 million) in relief goods and US$200,000 in cash, the Chinese Embassy in Colombo said Tuesday.
An Airbus 747 carrying blankets, tents, sheets and food including canned chicken, beef, and mutton is scheduled to arrive in Colombo at 4:10 AM local time on Wednesday from India, where some relief goods were unloaded to help Tsunami-hit areas in India.
