Venezuelan President Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias left Jinan, capital of east China's Shandong Province on Sunday, wrapping up his third visit to China.
At the invitation of Chinese president Hu Jintao, Chavez started his four-day state visit on Thursday.
During his stay in Beijing, Chavez held a talk with Hu Jintao. They both agreed to expand the Sino-Venezuelan exchanges, deepen bilateral cooperation and push forward their strategic relations.
Chavez also met with Chairman Wu Bangguo of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Premier Wen Jiabao and Vice President Zeng Qinghong.
Chavez went to Shandong, his second leg, on Saturday afternoon. He visited China twice, in October 1999 and May 2001 separately, before this visit.
