China and Belarus have signed a series of agreements on expanding bilateral economic and technical cooperation.
Both sides agreed to further strengthen cooperation in the fields of finance, energy, telecoms, auto manufacture and medicine.
The Minister of Commerce, Bo Xilai held talks with his Belarussian counterpart Kulichkov Alexander Nikolaevich at the sidelines of sixth meeting of a China-Belarus joint committee on trade and economic cooperation in Beijing.
Bo Xilai says that China agreed to the proposal provided by the president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko that in next few years, the total amount of trade between the two countries will hit US$500 million.
He adds China hopes to further economic and trade cooperation with the Commonwealth of Independent States, which is composed of the members of the former Soviet Union.
