China, Egypt to Promote Bilateral Relations

China will work with Egypt to promote the development of bilateral strategic and cooperative relations.

Chinese Vice Premier, Huang Ju, made the remarks at a meeting on Sunday with Egyptian President Muhammed Hosni Mubarak.

Huang Ju said that bilateral relations between the two countries have witnessed positive progress.

Meanwhile Mubarak said Egypt and China boast sound political relations and there was vast potential for bilateral economic and trade cooperation.

Egypt is the last leg of Huang Ju's four-nation tour after his visit to Luxembourg, Ireland and Turkey.
