The Bolivian government will, as always, be committed to the one-China policy, visiting Bolivian Defense Minister Gonzalo Arredondo said in Beijing Tuesday, while conferring with Chinese Defense Minister Cao Gangchuan.
Cao, also vice-chairman of the Chinese Central Military Commission and state councilor, said that Sino-Bolivian military relations have maintained a good momentum in recent years with bilateral army-to-army exchanges and visits increasing and friendly cooperation progressing well.
With Bolivia-China relations developing smoothly, bilateral military cooperation has grown in the last few years, Arredondo said, voicing his pledge to make endeavors to further expand the bilateral military ties.
The two sides also had an exchanged of views on issues of common concern like international anti-terrorism collaboration and national defense building.
Arredondo started his China tour Sunday as guest of his Chinese counterpart.
