Myanmar Minister of Commerce, Brigadier-General Tin Naing Thein, says he looks forward to good prospects of trade ties with China.
Tin Naing Thein said on Monday that Myanmar hopes to enhance economic and trade ties between the two countries.
The minister said there was strong mutual supplementation in trade ties between China and Myanmar and he welcomed Chinese entrepreneurs to do businesses and invest in his country.
He said bilateral trade reached nearly US$700 million in the fiscal year 2003-04, and he believed that bilateral trade and economic cooperation would continue to expand in the future.
A 55-member Myanmar delegation will take part in the upcoming China-ASEAN Expo in Nanning, capital of southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
