The Chinese Party and government are ready to work together with Tanzania to explore new ways of cooperation, a senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official said in Beijing Wednesday.
Liu Yunshan, member of the Political Bureau and the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, made the remark during a meeting with a delegation led by Omar Ramadhani Mapuri, central committee member and secretary of ideology and public relations of the Revolutionary Party of Tanzania.
Liu, also head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, said China appreciates Tanzania's adherent stance on the one-China policy and thanked it for its support of China in various fields.
The CPC and Chinese government are willing to exchange their experience of Party and country building with Tanzania and continue to expand cooperation to further enhance relations.
Liu also briefed the guests on the Fourth Plenum of the 16th CPC Central Committee, which concluded in Beijing Sunday.
Mapuri, also minister of the interior of the Tanzanian government, said his party is also willing to further enhance exchange and cooperation with the CPC.
