The largest foreign artistic exhibition every shown in China, featuring French fashion and designs from the past century, will be on display from mid-October to November at the China National Museum.
This is the first time this collection called 100 Years of French Fashion will be exhibited as one of the opening items of France Culture Year in China.
The exhibition of more than 220 pieces includes jewellery, clothing, home furnishings, and examples of French transportation. Organizers say the aim of the exhibition is to help Chinese people understand the development of French design, and give the audience a unique insight into French culture.
