At least 14 people were killed and 30 others injured as Israeli Apache helicopters fired five missiles at a Hamas youth training center in eastern Gaza City at midnight Monday, medics of Shiffa Hospital said.
Baker Abu Safeya, chief of emergency at the hospital, said that among the 30 injured, nine people were in critical conditions. According to witnesses, the Hamas training summer camp located in the eastern neighborhood of Tufah was pounded by Israeli Apache helicopters that could be seen hovering over the sky.
The camp, established on Ahmed Yassin playground two months ago, was full of people when the airstrike was launched, witnesses said.
