The UN and Sudan have reached an agreement on measures to address the Darfur Crisis in western part of the country.
The accord reportedly includes "detailed steps to disarm the Arab Janjaweed militia, improve security in Darfur and address the humanitarian crisis".
Last Friday, the UN security council gave Sudan 30 days to disarm the Arab militias, which has been accused of killing black villagers in Darfur.
The United Nations estimates that up to 50,000 people have been killed in the region and more than a million have fled their homes.
