The third meeting of the Special Representatives of China and India on the boundary issue ended in New Delhi on Tuesday.
The meeting between Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Dai Bingguo and Indian National Security Advisor J.N. Dixit, special representatives of China and India respectively, was held in a friendly, constructive and cooperative atmosphere, according to a press release from the Chinese delegation.
Dai Bingguo also called on Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh. During the call on the prime minister, Dai handed over a letter from Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.
The two sides agreed to hold the next meeting in Beijing at a mutually convenient date.
