US National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice concluded her 24-hour China visit Friday noon and left for Seoul of the Republic of Korea (ROK) to continue her three-nation Asian tour.
Rice arrived in the Chinese capital Thursday noon as Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing's guest.
China is the second leg of Rice's Asian tour. In Tokyo before her Beijing tour, she held talks with Japanese Prime Minister Koizumi Junichiro and Foreign Minister Kawaguchi Yoriko Wednesday on regional security issues. In Seoul, Rice is expected to confer with ROK leaders on the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue.
Rice accompanied US President George W. Bush on a working visit China in February, 2002.
