Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov and Vice-chairman of China's Central Military Commission Guo Boxiong met Thursday to enhance development of bilateral relations.
"We have achieved a high level of military and technical cooperation," said Fradkov, adding that the development of bilateral cooperation has a broad prospect.
Russia is satisfied with the high-level relationship with China and attaches great importance to the development of bilateral ties, the Russian prime minister said.
Fradkov expressed the belief that the Russian-Chinese strategic partnership of cooperation will become more consolidated and mature.
Guo noted that strengthening the friendly cooperation between the armies of the two countries will contribute to the maintenance of regional and global peace and stability.
China and Russia will be good neighbors and partners forever and make new efforts in promoting the strategic partnership, he said.
Guo arrived in Moscow on Monday for a five-day official good-will visit at the invitation of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov.
