The China Association for Promoting Democracy (CAPD), one of the eight non-communist parties in the country, has opened its own website, www.mj.org.cn, to help publicize the organization.
The CAPD is headed by Xu Jialu, who is also vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.
The website serves as a new way to publicize the patriotic united front and multi-party cooperation led by the ruling Communist Party of China, said Zhang Huaixi, a vice-chairman of the CAPD.
The website is an information platform and database about the association, as well as a new exchange network among its subsidiary organs and all members, according to Zhang.
