The Communist Youth League of China, the world's largest youth organization, will convene its 15th National Congress in Beijing from July 22 to 26, the League's Central Committee announced here Tuesday.
The agenda includes hearing and examining a report by the 14th League Central Committee, revising the League Constitution, and electing the League's new leadership to the 15th Central Committee.
A total of 1,539 delegates are expected to participate in the congress, which is held once every five years.
With an average age of 29.7, the deputies are mostly officials from League organizations at all levels and model young people from various social sectors.
Founded in 1922, the Communist Youth League of China has 69.86 million members aged from 14 to 28. The League subjects itself to the leadership of the Communist Party of China.
