A government-sponsored public employment website, the first ever in China, has been launched in Shanghai, east China.
The website offers a free service to both job providers and seekers, thus greatly reducing the cost to both sides.
Backed by a strong information network, the website is committed to providing real and reliable information on both enterprises and individuals, while safeguarding their privacy.
Authoritative reports on the labor market climate will also be published for reference and all on-line information flows are safeguarded.
During the trial operation before its formal inauguration, the website attracted more than 4,000 enterprises, offering 5,600 job opportunities.
Some 28,000 job seekers, including several thousand students from Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and other institutes of higher learning, have registered applications.
