Li Changchun, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Wednesday urged the further study and implementation of the guidelines of the 16th CPC National Congress.
Li made the call at a meeting in Beijing on the previous work in this regard, which reported much progress in the publicity, study and implementation of the guidelines in the past two and a half months.
These efforts have further lifted the morale of the public and motivated CPC officials to improve their work style, helping to improve relations between the masses and the Party, according to the meeting.
Li said future publicity of the guidelines of the 16th CPC National Congress should reach new depth and breadth.
He urged helping the public to better grasp and implement the guidelines and expand the publicity work to more areas, including communities, schools, factories, construction sites, rural areas and barracks.
He urged Party officials to keep in close touch with the masses, improve their work style and do more concrete good deeds for the people.
