Two More Imported Cases of Dengue Fever Confirmed in HK
The Department of Health of Hong Kong confirmed two more imported cases of dengue fever Thursday and urged the public to guard against the disease.

This has brought the number of confirmed cases of dengue fever in Hong Kong this year to 39, with 19 imported cases and 20 local cases.

A spokesman for the department said the two cases involved two women aged 28 and 38 respectively. They both traveled to a South East Asian country during the incubation period.

The 28-year-old has recovered and the 38-year-old is in a stable condition, the spokesman said.

The spokesman reminded the public to take precautionary measures against mosquito bites and actively participate in the elimination of mosquito breeding places.
