China has extended the period of its anti-dumping investigations against imported acrylate, a kind of industrial material, sources with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) disclosed Sunday.
On Oct. 10 last year, MOFTEC began an anti-dumping investigation against acrylate imports from the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
The investigation was due to be completed in 12 months, but due to complexity of the case, MOFTEC has decided to prolong the investigation by six months, in keeping with China's regulations on anti-dumping and anti-subsidies.
MOFTEC will announce its findings by Apr. 10, 2003.
