Young Chinese Encouraged to Be More Pioneering

Chinese governments at different levels should support the youth to become more pioneering in carving out their own undertakings, Vice Premier Huang Ju said Monday.

Huang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remarks at a meeting with the winners of the China youth pioneering prize.

"To start their own businesses is a major part of the national endeavor to promote employment and reemployment among the young people," said Huang, praising such a move bears great significance.

He said that the young people, a key part of the country's human resources, have great vitality and creativity.

China should also better publicize the models of the youth successful in starting enterprises for others to learn from, he said.
