"The key to the construction of a harmonious society lies with our Party and leading Party committees," said Zeng Qinghong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, at the closing ceremony of a training course, which was offered by the Party School of the CPC Central Committee and attended by major provincial- and ministerial-level leaders.
Zeng, also president of the Party School, instructed Party and government officials to put the construction at the top on their work agenda and to "improve their capability in stimulating social linnovation, managing social affairs, coordinating different interests, addressing problems among the people, keeping contacts with the public and safeguarding social stability in fulfilling their historical task."
He called on the officials to follow the "scientific concept of development" and to study theories and major issues in "building a harmonious society."
