Over 60 sculptures newly created by Chinese artists are now on a tour exhibition in Changchun, capital of northeast China's Jilin Province. The exhibition titled "Peace and Prosperity," from June 18 to 26, is co-sponsored by the Chinese Artists Association and Changchun municipal government to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and of the Anti-Fascist War worldwide. After Changchun, the exhibition will go to Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Chongqing, Xiamen and Beijing. All the six cities it tours have been subjected to Japanese invasion in the late 1930s.
